You will discover a lot in Lisbon. Apart from taking Tram 28, here are few ideas to get started!
Before and after the conference:
- Cascais – from Cais do Sodré metro station
- Sintra – from Rossio train station in Lisbon
- Tomar – from Santa Apolónia metro station
Before the conference reception or during lunch / dinner breaks:
- Take a walk on Avenida da Liberdade (there are tons of restaurants and outdoor cafes on the way) or hop on the train from Avenida to the next stop Restaurados (on the blue line) and check out Praca da Figueira.
After the conference ends / before the afternoon walking tour in Alfama, you can also check out:
- Bairro Alto & try the artisan chocolates at Bettina & Niccolo Corallo in Principe Real
- Praça do Comércio
- São Jorge Castle
- Take the metro to Terreiro do Paço and walk along the waterfront toward Santa Apolónia
