Kindly note that our final extended deadline for CMCS submissions is July 31. We have received a high number of significant works and look forward to the best presentations at our final event in downtown Toronto from 5 to 8 pm on August 30!

This event will also celebrate the 12th anniversary of CMCS which was inaugurated by board members Louis Massey and Anita Krajnc, among many more, in August 2013! This year’s anniversary & festival event will include a fun, vegan potluck, so join us with your best plant-based option!

Our venue, Wishbone, is a unique grassroots organization, supporting one of our main social justice causes, i.e., animal rights, alongside human rights and environmental ethics. With a flourishing library resource centre and a media studio for ongoing podcast shows, photography sessions, painting meetups, language classes, and art exhibits and screenings, Wishbone stands out as one of the best non-profit organizations, facilitating education, art, training, and activism for all species. Production

CMCS is now in post-production for its feature film (TBA). While finishing this feature, we are honoured to have our first short film, The Leak, nominated as a Finalist at the World Film Festival among the two selections earlier.
