The Centre for Media and Celebrity Studies (CMCS) specializes in doctoral research on celebrity studies and media training on production. CMCS carries a philosophy that inspires integration of research and media skills training in academia and film production within and beyond the studies of celebrity culture. The centre believes in intellectual, aesthetic, and ethical values of bridging gaps in higher education and the media industry. CMCS started with official registration under Service Ontario under the Government of Ontario, Canada in 2013. Until changed in accordance with the Act, the Head Office of the organization shall be in Toronto but works internationally.
